Stephen Redding's Books
In "Something More" and "More or Less" you can read about:
  • The journey of life
  • Why we matter
  • How we are the eyes and hopes of those who came before us
  • The other worlds and realities to which we also belong
  • Why pain, suffering, and even death are, for now, an inseparable part of the existence experience
  • What stands between our present experience of life and the promise of a day with a beginning but not an end
  • How we have been estranged from so much of life's wonder and how we can get it back

Foreword
The words and thoughts that lie herein, by Stephen Redding, are powerful. They come from life experiences that are unique and that are filled with great wisdom and insight.

I believe that what Stephen has to say, and what is in his heart and mind are enlightening and profound. He was given this insight and these experiences for a reason, maybe one that is yet to be known. But I believe that it is in Stephen’s ability to share these experiences with his words, speech, writings and encounters with others, that therein lies the answer to the "Why?"

I am moved reading his words, as I believe others, too, will be. We are all searching in this life for the whys and the wheres and the hows, and I believe that this place can be a lonely place for all of us.

Stephen’s mother, whom I never had the honor to know, was quite a woman, who was open to and connected to the spiritual, less tangible aspect of life. She was a tremendous example and force to the ones she mingled with on this earth, and she imparted on Stephen the opportunity to be open to the intangible and to share it with us.

Stephen took this opportunity to go beyond; to be open to forces beyond himself and beyond his control and to search for answers, strength, and wisdom. I am honored to have had the opportunity to know Stephen, and to read his words.

More or Less

Foreword
The first time I met Stephen Redding, he was the guest speaker at our nondenominational Sunday Celebration. His presence exuded peace, and his words expressed deep wisdom. Descriptions of his multi-world experiences took us beyond the realm of the known, allowing us to peek into other existences. While listening with fascination to his accounts of surviving numerous brushes with death, and coming back from "the edge," I was stunned into deep silence. From within this silence, I knew his soul had experienced the Beyond, the Space Between, the Something More. It was obvious that Stephen’s journeys into the depth of the More left him with an extraordinary understanding of what is really important in life.

Since then, I had the privilege of getting to know Stephen as an amazingly gentle, thoughtful, and wise man. This arborist by trade is a sage who honors life within every being, whether it is called a tree, flower, animal, amphibian, insect, or human. He lives what he writes about so eloquently.

More or Less encompasses many dimensions: the seen and the unseen. Stephen’s message “life does not stop at the end of our personal bodies” is beautifully and skillfully conveyed in this, his second book. Life continues. The essence of who we are remains intact even after apparent earthly death. We continue to exist in a wonderfully fluid state, in that Something More space, which connects us with all dimensions.

For me, this book contains a timely message. Seek life and light while being mindful of preserving your energy. It seems that when we allow our life to be filled with doing, running, and accomplishing, we lose focus of what is truly important. Where is our center of attention? Do these activities allow us to perceive the whispers from another realm? Have we made time for reflection? When our minds are filled with chatter and to-do lists, how can the still small voice of transcendent nature be perceived?

Stephen’s words have reminded me to honor Space. I have learned to appreciate that this is the essential element to expanding my life-perception beyond the obvious. It allows me to notice incredible beauty, and most importantly, who we really are. We are more than meets the eye. We are so much more!

Allow More or Less to enhance your life as it has mine by integrating the message into your heart.

Thank you, Stephen, for sharing your wisdom!
